Unfortunately we are not able to split our waste at Woldingham Village Hall to enable recycling.  The problem is that the Hall is not classed as a domestic building which would qualify for free waste collection by Tandridge Council    We pay a monthly fee to a commercial firm for our rubbish to be collected.  We did look into trying to have a recycling contract but it meant a substantial additional monthly cost.  Sadly the Hall does not have sufficient large events each month for this to be viable.

Some people who are hiring the Hall for a large event and want to be eco-friendly,  choose to take their empty bottles to a recycling point. 
​Regrettably any rubbish you place in our wheelie bin will not be recycled.
